Zbyněk Baladrán is not only an artist, but also a curator, founder of the Display Gallery and designer of a number of large temporary and permanent exhibitions at the National Gallery Prague, the Gallery of West Bohemia in Pilsen and the Moravian Gallery in Brno. Through post-conceptual strategies, his installations, objects, videos and texts explore the constructions of prevailing epistemological fields and mental patterns, particularly those relating to individual and collective memory, the past and the political.
